Reset your Audi Apple Car Play

Audi Salt Lake City Tech Tip: How to reset your Apple CarPlay® in your Audi

How to Reset Apple CarPlay® in your Audi

If Apple CarPlay® is not working in your Audi, keeps disconnecting, or won't launch at all, the issue is often caused by an old Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection. Audi vehicles use a wireless handshake between your phone and the MMI system. When phone software updates or settings change, this connection can become unstable. The good news is that a proper reset usually fixes the issue quickly. Follow the steps below to reset Apple CarPlay® in your Audi.

Why Apple CarPlay® Stops Working in Audi Vehicles
common reasons include:

  • outdated Bluetooth or Wi-Fi pairings
  • phone software updates
  • Multiple phones trying to connect
  • VPN or Security apps on the phone
  • Bad Cellular signal (can be the phone (Your Service Carrier) and the Vehicle (Verizon)

A full reset clears these conflicts and restores a clean connection
