Q3 vs Q5: Power & Performance

One of the most noticeable differences between the Q3 and the Q5 lies under the hood. Let's take a look at their impressive engines.

First up is the Q3. This vehicle comes equipped with a standard 2.0L 4-cylinder TFSI® engine, complete with 228 horsepower and up to 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine can also achieve an EPA-estimated 19 city and 27 highway MPG.* With this commendable combination of power, performance, and fuel efficiency, each drive will feel all the more exhilarating.

Now, let's move on to the Q5. This SUV features a similar standard 2.0L TFSI® 4-cylinder engine. However, the Q5's version does include some heightened specifications, including 248 horsepower and up to 273 lb-ft of torque. It also achieves an EPA-estimated 22 city and 28 highway MPG.*

Q3 vs Q5: Interior Dimensions & Comfort

Drivers who purchase a luxury vehicle expect the interior to be, well, luxurious. Both the Audi Q3 and the Audi Q5 do not disappoint, offering a spacious and relaxing driving experience.

In terms of interior dimensions, these two SUVs offer almost identical amounts of space. In the Q3, you'll find 39.6 inches of front headroom and 37.6 inches of rear headroom. The Q5 offers 40.2 inches of front headroom as well as 37.7 inches of rear headroom. When it comes to legroom, the Q3 provides 40 inches in the front and 36.1 inches in the rear. The Q5 provides 41 inches of front legroom and 37.8 inches of rear legroom.

Not only are the Q3 and the Q5 quite roomy, but they are quite comfortable to sit in as well. The driver and front passenger can relax atop of the available heated 8-way power front seats with 4-way power lumbar adjustments.

Q3 vs Q5: Infotainment & Technology

Stay connected to the world around you with Audi's suite of innovative technology systems, found inside of the Q3 as well as the Q5.

The hub of this tech stems from the optional 12.3-inch LCD digital instrument cluster. Pair this infotainment system with standard Apple CarPlay® connectivity to access your music, send and receive text messages, and much more.

Speaking of music, your favorite tunes have never sounded better thanks in part to the Q3's  Bang & Olufsen® 3D Premium Sound System with 15 speakers, 16-channel amplifier, and 680 watts of power. Inside of the Q5, you'll find the same Bang & Olufsen® 3D Premium Sound System but with 19 speakers and 755 watts of power.

Moreover, check out the Q3 and Q5's additional high-tech amenities, such as:

  • Two front USB ports
  • Audi phone box (wireless charging and signal booster)
  • HD Radio™ technology
